The small intestine is a 4.5m to 6m long tube that is part of the digestive system. Despite its name, its the longest part of the digestive system. Its purpose is to further break down food and gastric juices that come from the stomach. The small intestine then connects to the large intestine or colon.

There are 3 major types of Small Intestine Cancer:

• Sarcomas
• Lymphomas
• Carcinoid tumors
