Cannabis has been used for pain relief for many years. According to the article CBD is responsible for pain relief. According to the Canadian Medical Association Journal Cannabis can also relieve chronic pain. The study involved 23 adults with post-traumatic or post-surgical neuropathic pain. Over the course of 14 days the patients' pain was measured. After only 5 days there was a significant reduction in pain.
