Research from Brazil has discovered that CBD may have a positive effect on the symptoms of OCD. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most common substances found within the cannabis plant. It is also a non-psychoactive compound.

Tested CBD on rats treated with mCPP.
Even at a very low dose, the results were good. The CBD reversed the obsessive-compulsive behavior. It was also deduced that a relief from this disorder may be due to the interaction of serotonergic and cannabinoid systems.
