Skin cancer and Cannabis Oil

<< Back to Cancer Page
The majority of skin cancer is caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun and artificial sources such as solariums. Skin cancer occurs when errors (mutations) occur in the DNA of skin cells. The mutations cause the cells to grow out of control and form a mass of cancer cells.

There are different types of skin cancer:

  • Basal and Squamous Cell - Very treatable, this cancer is found on skin that is usually exposed to the sun.
  • Melanoma - Less common but more likely to spread.
  • Merkel Cell - Found in the top layer of the skin near the nerve endings.
  • Lymphoma of the Skin - Starts in the immune system.
  • Kaposi Sarcoma - Usually starts in the lymph or blood vessels and appears as tumors on the skin

  • A large brownish spot with darker speckles
  • A mole that changes in color, size or feel or that bleeds
  • A small lesion with an irregular border and portions that appear red, white, blue or blue-black
  • Dark lesions on your palms, soles, fingertips or toes, or on mucous membranes lining your mouth, nose, vagina or anus
  • A firm, red nodule
  • A flat lesion with a scaly, crusted surface
  • A pearly or waxy bump
  • A flat, flesh-colored or brown scar-like lesion

David Triplett

David Triplett had skin cancer on his nose that was treated and then came back. His doctor recommended chemotherapy cream, but he did some research online and found out about cannabis oil.

He decided to give it a try and record what happened.

“I used the oil for three to four weeks before I saw any results, and then the results were dramatic, Not only was the oil healing my nose, but it was bringing cancer to the surface that I didn’t even know was there.”
